BCBA at Happy Strides ABA
Bailey has proudly called Grand Valley, Colorado home since 2014, where she lives with her husband and daughter. A United States Navy Veteran, Bailey brings both dedication and compassion to everything she does.
Her journey working with neurodivergent children began in 2015, but her connection to the special needs community started much earlier. Growing up, Bailey often rode alongside her mother, a school bus driver for children with special needs, and later babysat many of her students. These early experiences fostered a lifelong passion for supporting children and families.
With experience supporting clients ages 2 through 21 across a wide range of developmental delays and mental health challenges, Bailey is especially passionate about teaching social-emotional skills. She loves guiding children from the first steps of expressing emotions to confidently identifying and communicating their feelings.

Bailey began her professional path as a paraprofessional in school classrooms, providing one-on-one and small group support for students with significant needs. In 2018, she discovered her love for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), inspired by the science and meaningful progress it brings to children’s lives. She went on to earn her Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in October 2023.
With experience supporting clients ages 2 through 21 across a wide range of developmental delays and mental health challenges, Bailey is especially passionate about teaching social-emotional skills. We are incredibly fortunate to have Bailey leading our Grand Junction operations at Happy Strides ABA. Her expertise, heart, and commitment to empowering children make her an invaluable part of our team.
What is your favorite childhood memory or toy?
I didn’t have one specific toy I was attached to, but I spent a lot of time in a tree at my parents’ house. It wasn’t a traditional treehouse, but the way the branches grew — along with a few wooden platforms my brothers added — made it feel like one. It was a space for imagination, adventure, and independence.
